Terms of Service

These Terms of Service apply to purchases made from Dear Paw. By accessing our store or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Personalized Products
Our products are customized using the template, pet photo, pet name, text, or design submitted by the customer.
You are responsible for checking that all names, template selections, photos, designs, shipping information, and other order details are accurate before completing checkout.
Fixed-template orders normally do not include a proof before production.
For “Use My Own Design” orders, we will send a proof by email before production. Please reply within 48 hours with “APPROVED” or your requested adjustment. If we do not receive a response within 48 hours, the proof will be deemed approved and production will begin.
Product images are provided for reference. Reasonable differences in color, placement, cropping, materials, or appearance may occur because of screen settings, photography, printing processes, and production batches.
Customer-Submitted Content
By uploading a photo, design, image, logo, text, or other content, you confirm that:

You created or own the content, or have permission from the owner to use it;

The content does not infringe another person’s copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other rights; and

The content is not unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or otherwise prohibited.
You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant us a limited right to use the submitted content only as reasonably necessary to review, produce, fulfill, deliver, and support your order, or to comply with applicable legal obligations.
We will not use customer-submitted content for public advertising or marketing without separate permission.
We may reject, suspend, or cancel an order if we reasonably believe that submitted content is unlawful, infringing, unsafe, or unsuitable for production.
Orders and Payments
Prices, shipping charges, discounts, and any applicable taxes are displayed during checkout.
Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance. We may reject or cancel an order because of payment issues, suspected fraud, production limitations, obvious pricing errors, or problems with submitted content.
If we cancel a paid order that has not been fulfilled, we will issue a refund to the original payment method.
By completing checkout, you confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method and that the information provided is accurate.
Changes and Cancellations
Orders enter review and production quickly, so changes and cancellations cannot be guaranteed.
Once production has begun, or an own-design proof has been explicitly or automatically approved, the order cannot be changed or cancelled for personal reasons.

Shipping and Returns
Shipping estimates, tracking procedures, delivery issues, returns, replacements, and refunds are governed by our Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy. These policies form part of these Terms of Service.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use the store, its products, or its services for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, infringing, or unauthorized purposes, or attempt to interfere with the security or operation of the store.
Third-Party Services
Our store is hosted by Shopify and may use third-party payment providers, shipping carriers, analytics services, and other service providers. Your use of some services may also be subject to the applicable third party’s terms and privacy practices.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dear Paw will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the use of the store or products.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
